With autumn’s inevitable pushing back of the morning sunrise, we’re actually awake to watch it happen. Owen and Lily have been glued to the front window this week, watching the sun light up the eastern sky. Lily calls the morning clouds the “northern lights,” which is not far off – just during the day and in the eastern sky.
This morning was one of those sunrises that are an event, when it’s just right to come late for school simply to honour and enjoy the magic that surrounds. Here’s a few photos from this morning’s display of glory.
I love this Phil! Thanks for posting them. :o)
The first one makes me think of God’s hands reaching down to give us a huge hug. Simply brilliant!
